Naissance

Mezzotint engraving on wove paper. Wolfgang Gaefgen was born in Hamburg in 1936. He worked for Otto Dix in the early 1960s and exhibited in Hamburg, Paris, Kreutzllingen, Bremen, L'Aquila, and other European cities. In 1966 he had a one-man showing of his drawings at Galerie Jacob in Paris.
