Sonia Delaunay

A key figure in the Parisian avant-garde and a co-founder of the Orphism movement. Delaunay was a multi-disciplinary pioneer whose vibrant use of color and geometric forms transformed painting, textiles, and design. In 1964, she became the first living female artist to have a retrospective at the Louvre.
